Subbie Tip #15 – How To Get The Best Mortgage Offer

You know how much you’d like to borrow but meeting mortgage lenders affordability criteria isn’t always that simple right? I meet a lot of people who believe the misconception that there’s only one mortgage lender that fully accepts CIS Subcontractor gross income to support their mortgage application; it gives me great pleasure to reassure them that they’re wrong.

It is true that all lenders have different lending criteria but without even pausing to think about it I can name twelve mortgage lenders that accept CIS income and there are plenty more.

The great news is that many of the lenders I regularly access for clients will also recognise multiple CIS incomes.  This means Subbies who work midweek with one construction firm and weekends with another to supplement their income can include both on their applications. Being able to stack multiple CIS income in this way means you’re likely to be able to access a bigger mortgage and increase the choice of property available for you to buy.

The bottom line is, don’t assume you have no other options if another mortgage broker or banks has told you only one CIS Income can be considered; there are plenty of options out there in the mortgage market and if you’d like me to help you access them to get a bigger mortgage then get in touch today by calling 08000 306705 or dropping me an email to: david@cismortgage.co.uk
